New Patients

Appointments and Fees

Here’s a quick orientation to our services:

  • The initial evaluation appointment is 90 minutes long.
  • Follow-up visits are 25-50 minutes long.
  • Follow up visits are once every 1-2 weeks initially, with more time in between visits as symptoms improve.
  • Once symptoms are stable, we request follow up every 2-3 months to refill medications and continue as an established patient in our practice.

Please note we do not take or bill insurance. At your request, we are happy to provide a detailed invoice that serves as a superbill for you to submit directly to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. All insurance plans vary, so please confirm out of network benefits prior to scheduling if you wish to submit for reimbursement.

Customized intensive programs are available for those wishing to focus on a specific area of improvement with closer appointments at start. Focus areas can include sleep improvement, performance optimization, life transitions, mood and anxiety management, and ketamine assisted psychotherapy. Please inquire directly via email.

Dr. Alex Dimitriu, MD sees a limited number of patients for direct care, by physician referral. Please inquire directly for availability and pricing.

Insurance

We are a contracted provider for LYRA health (Rachel Hilton, NP). Otherwise, we are an out of network provider for all insurance claims, and do not accept Medicare.

We do provide a super bill for services, which allows some patients to obtain out-of-network reimbursement. As a “fee for service” practice, payment is expected at the time of service.

We believe your health and privacy are your business and our model facilitates that. Practicing independently allows for the delivery of the most effective, state of the art treatment and care.
