New Patients

Appointments and Fees

Here’s a quick orientation to our services:

  • The initial evaluation appointment is 90 minutes long
  • Follow-up visits are 25-50 minutes long.
  • Follow up visits are once every 1-2 weeks initially, with more time in between visits as symptoms improve.
  • Once symptoms are stable, we request follow up every three months to refill medications and continue as an established patient in our practice.

Please note we do not take or bill insurance. At your request, we are happy to provide a detailed invoice that serves as a superbill for you to submit directly to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. All insurance plans vary, so please confirm out of network benefits prior to scheduling if you wish to submit for reimbursement.

Our fee schedule is below:

Alex Dimitriu MD
Initial evaluation (90 minutes) = $3,000
50-minute follow-up visit = $1,200
25-minute follow-up visit = $700

Nurse Practitioners (Lauren Varma, Rachel Hilton, Jeff Leininger)
Initial evaluation (90 minutes) = $1,300
50-minute follow-up visit = $800
25-minute follow-up visit = $500

Psychotherapists (Shiva Wilson, Emily Heard)
50-minute appointment = $300

We are a contracted provider for LYRA health (Lauren Varma, NP). Otherwise, we are an out of network provider for all insurance claims, and do not accept Medicare.

We do provide a super bill for services, which allows some patients to obtain out-of-network reimbursement. As a “fee for service” practice, payment is expected at the time of service.

We believe your health and privacy are your business and our model facilitates that. Practicing independently allows for the delivery of the most effective, state of the art treatment and care.
